We were visited at our other business, Super Smoker BBQ in Eureka, Missouri by Shane and Amy of "A Year At The Wheel" on December 8. 

What is "A Year At The Wheel"?  It's a TV show that will be airing on Discovery Channel beginning sometime in the late Spring of 2008.  They are travelling all around the United States taking in as many different forms of American culture and stories as their brains can absorb. 

They are quite a story and since their whole existence these days is TRAVEL, we could not help but include their travels to Super Smokers BBQ on our site.  We took a few photos of these up and coming national TV stars.

We had just finished polishing off a large order of BBQ Nachos and a 20-ounce Pork Steak when a Super Smokers BBQ patron volunteered to snap our picture.  Shane (in the middle) never gets too far away from his camera.  The camera is mounted to what we would call a tripod, but it resembles a steering wheel more than a photography device.

Below Shane moves a few BBQ trophies around so they will be in just the right spot for the interview with Amy (seated).

Amy and Shane are so good at what they do that they can use a high chair to set and prepare the next shot.
